One of our first projects was a heighten coffee table made with reclaimed wood. The table is designed with a cast iron coffee grinder from the late 19th century as the base.
Because we wanted the base to be admired, the table’s height is higher than the traditional coffee table height.
The coffee grinder is actually functional if you ever feel inspired to grind coffee as it was in the late 19th century. Plus, it will be a topic of conversation and entertainment for your gatherings.
